Dido had a baby boy, named him Stan. Seriously.
Dido gave birth in Summer, which is news since she misplaced the baby down the back of the couch and only now recovered him along with about tree-fiddy. The Daily Mail reports, seemingly based on assumptions and trawling through the singer’s Facebook, that Dido gave birth to her son Stanley Gavin July 2011.
She recently wrote on Facebook:
‘I wanted to wish you all a very happy christmas. I’m ridiculously excited about Stanley’s first christmas this year! Hope you all have a brilliant one and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone in 2012.’
As you may recall, the singer was featured on 2000′s Stan with Eminem (yes, the song’s that old). It’s a song about a woman without access to the Internet or a Big Book O’ Babies Names who names her baby thing after a fictional stalker who takes his own life in a murder-suicide. It’s here as a reminder. Sidenote: the 40-year-old’s government name is Dido Florian Cloud de Bounevialle O’Malley Armstrong.
